you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink it. if you go for help, but only do the bare minimum and just go through the motions your chances for success are not very good. if nothing changes nothing changes. you need willingness and 100% honesty to get the most out of your stay. i wish anybody the best of luck who uses their services. It is 100% possible to change to possitive thinking, and to a better quality of life. They give you the tools to do that. It is up to you to use them as well.
To say this place is disgusting gives it too much credit. Wretched food, filthy dirty, inept administration, just overall degenerate. There are some dedicated staff and bless their hearts for working there. If you love a family member or friend DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!!!!!!!
A friend of mine knew someone who worked there. Basically said it was hell on earth. The staff would sit on their phones and were extremely rude. Nurses would laugh at people and just drug them up so they didn’t have to deal with them. If someone really want to get sober- STAY AWAY from this place. In the past year there has been a suicide because the staff didn’t do their required 15 minute checks. Awful staff. Awful and rude. There are much safer places to go then this so called “hospital”. They should be shut down.
This place is literally the definition of neglect, there was human feces in the smoking area for patients I witnessed a patient vomit all over the floor and nothing in the facility was sanitized. Walk through the sick floor of the meeting and lunch room and your lucky to not lose a shoe with how sticky the floors are from god knows what. My first night there I was laughed at by medical staff when knowing my patient rights and pointing out the neglect to the point other patients asked me if I need help because the staff would do nothing to help. This place is asking to be shut down.
When I was there I was subjected to cruel and unusual treatment. Do not send your child to this hospital because after got out I was diagnosed with PTSD.
